Glyph’s first release is from Simon Schilling aka Essáy, a young producer from rural Germany that’s already causing a stir. His richly textured compositions have won the hearts of many who have come across him already with the likes of XLR8R marking him out as one to watch.

Building up a devoted following on Soundcloud, his unofficial remix of ‘Shelter’ by Birdy was met with a feverish response with over 1000 downloads and 30,000 plays in just 2 days.

‘Morning Mountain’ was inspired by an ambient composition by award winning New Zealand cinematic composer Rhian Sheehan and worked into a beautifully emotional epic that slowly builds over 7 minutes, its weightless melodies lifting you into the stratosphere. A true sunset track.

Alongside ‘Morning Mountain’ we have ‘A Cold Day’ a 9 minute breath of icy fresh air, as fragile and beautiful as a frosted spiderweb and going to show just how exciting an artist Essáy is.
